Since 2013 and as part of the NACMM / North Africa Cultural Mobility Map, Pau Cata has been developing of a series of video interviews with artists, researchers, curators and AIR coordinators in North Africa. These interviews give shape to an archive of the different infrastructures that comprise the contemporary art scenes of North Africa, with a focus on the development of AIRs in the region. The interviews are heterogeneous in the sense that they not only include the thoughts, worries and hopes of different AIR coordinators but also engage in the current debates about the development of contemporary creative and research practices in the region.
